“Can I sleep with you guys?”

I blinked at Reece. I’d thought he was asleep. After watching movies, eating snacks and snuggling inside of the fort, he had fallen asleep with Carsen’s hand on his back and his head on my knee. I glanced over at Carsen who was already walking toward our bedroom.

“I should ask Carsen.” I stroked his hair. “I thought you were out for the night...”

“I was until he moved,” Reece yawned. “Please? Can I come too? I don’t want to sleep by myself tonight.”

I sighed. How was I supposed to say anything other than yes when he flashed those big, sweet eyes at me? I nodded toward the hall.

“Go ask Carsen.”

Reece was up and running down the hall before I could understand what was happening. I snorted. Yeah, that boy was something else. I heard commotion in the hallway before Reece ran back.

“He said yes!” He beamed. “So, let’s go!”

Reece took my hand and my heart sped up. He was so perfectly adorable and sweet. I wanted to love and care for him. I wanted him to stay here and be happy. I was so proud of Carsen and how he’d handled the night, making everything better for everyone in the house. Everyday my boyfriend reminded me why I loved him so much.

“Come on.” Reece tugged my hand again and smiled.

I quickly moved down the hall with him. “I think you’re more excited than you are sleepy,” I pointed out.

Reece shrugged. “Hey, I’m about to be half naked in your bed. Call this a win.”

I choked out a laugh. What was I supposed to say to that? We went into the bedroom just in time for Carsen to pad out of the bathroom stark naked. Both Reece and I stopped and stared. My boyfriend ran his fingers through his hair and raised a brow at us. A wicked grin played on his lips.

“Sorry, baby. If I’m sleeping, I’m sleeping naked like always.” He strolled over to his side of the bed.

Reece audibly groaned. “Does he really always sleep naked?”

I nodded. “Like ninety percent of the time.”

“Wow,” Reece muttered. “Wow.” His eyes trailed up and down Carsen’s body. “Wow.”

“You cannot say wow one more time.” I pushed Reece toward the bathroom. “Get ready for bed and then come out.” I shut the bathroom door and walked over to Carsen. My hands went on my hips. “What are you doing?”

“Getting ready for bed.” He leaned against his pillow. “You?”

I glared. “You know what I mean,” I hissed. “What is this? I thought we both agreed we didn’t want to push him into anything.”

Carsen frowned. “I’m not.”

I folded my arms over my chest. “You’re into him. Really into him, aren’t you?”

Carsen played with the blanket over his lap. “Yeah.” He shrugged. “Yeah I am, but don’t tell me that you aren’t too. I see the way you look at him. And the way he looks at us.”

I moved over to the bed and sat on the side. My lips tugged down into a frown.
